While it is cheesing the game, even with the glitch there are a lot of challenges to make a functioning vessel. How to Find All Easter Eggs Celestial BodiesĪlthough originally a terrain glitch, the Mohole (a large, steep vertical “tunnel” at Moho’s north pole) is often considered an Easter egg, and indeed was later “canonized” by the developers, being given its own biome (the “Northern Sinkhole”) and KerbNet anomaly marker. For example there is a glitch where Heatshields can produce massive amounts of lift but no drag, using that technology Stratzenblitz75 built an Eve SSTO. But finding glitches in the game that allow you to cheat without "really" cheating is also fun for some people, since it presents it's own challenge. It just seems much easier and safer to click a few things in the menu to turn it on rather than trying to rig something up to glitch the game out. Not like I see using them as bad or anything. Don't get me wrong I use fuel cheats in half the game saves I make these days. Infinite fuel is a cheat built into the game, this version of a Kraken Drive is just a glitch that can be used (It's still kinda cheating though), and it comes with it's own challenges. So basically you can cause some odd reaction by glitching out parts? I had heard the term before and just assumed it was a mod of some kind.
